Should elementary school continue teaching handwriting? Our opinion is that, yes. They should keep teaching children handwriting. Why? There are many reasons why elementary school teachers should continue to do so. Reason number one, is that we can prevent confusion between the teachers and the students. This is because if the student’s hand writing is confusing in their assignments, the teacher might be very confused on what to grade this, because they don’t know what they’re seeing. And on the other hand, if the student tries to read what they just wrote down, they might be confused on their own. They cannot read their notes, or whatever they wrote.
Reason number two, is to make the student read and spells quicker, its because when the teachers is writing, present or even talking something and the student have to write it, they will try to read it, remember it then they spell it in their mind after that all they write it in a fast way so they will not missed anything from the teacher.
So in conclusion, yes. They should continue teaching handwriting to elementary students. Because, it’s both convenient for the students and also the teacher.
